The texture resembles the Heart Of The Sea with a more ender-like palette. It contains something similar to an ender eye.

The crafting recipe is consisted of 1 ender eye, 4 dragon's breath and 4 diamonds. Each craft will give you 1 Heart Of The End.

"What we had in mind for this item was the result of an answer to the question 'what could be inside the heart of the sea?'. We needed an item for the Ender Armor recipe so we worked it around a bit and made a sort of "end-infected" heart of the sea that looks cool and kind of scary at the same time."
